Origin, is giving homeowners the chance win £500 to spend at John Lewis by sharing before and after photographs of their home makeovers.

Our social media competition ‘Cave to Crib’ has already gained momentum online and is inspired by our TV advertising campaign on the Home Channel. Origin sponsors programmes such as A Place in the Sun and Fantasy Homes by the Sea with a series of six short adverts showing how homes have changed from cavemen through to modern man.  

People are very proud of their homes and put lots of love, time and effort into decorating and sprucing up their properties. Linking to our TV advert, we wanted to see how families had turned their ‘cave’ into a ‘crib’ by making changes and improving their homes.

We welcome all types of home improvement photos from a simple lick of paint to brighten up a room to a full house renovation. We’ve enjoyed seeing photographs of how our followers have transformed their properties and look forward to seeing more entries over the coming weeks!

The competition is open to all homeowners, who can enter by tweeting @Originbifolds using the hastag #CavetoCrib or by posting on the company’s Facebook wall. All entries are displayed in a Cave to Crib gallery on the Origin Pinterest page.

The Cave to Crib competition is open until 12pm on Monday 1st September. Good Luck!
